buying w/o health screening?
Would you purchase a pup from parents that have not had health screenings? Why or why not? I'm trying to do this the right way, and I don't think I would choose to purchase from a breeder that doesn't screen, but I would like other opinions...both sides. Thanks!

No, I personally would never buy again from a breeder that does not health screen their dogs. I have a long list of criteria a breeder must meet, and health screening and knowing their lines is at the top of the list
Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs.
Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.

Having lost a dearly loved pet due to genetic problems I would never take this chance again. I will only support the best breeders I can find.
