				   | I would like to know which would be a better playmate for my little 5 yr old female yorkie - another female or a male? I'm considering a yorkie-maltese mix, a malkie or morkie. |

				   | Some people think it is better to get the opposite sex so they will get along better. But I think it just depends on the personality of the dogs. We just got a female chi and she is getting along with Gypsy (female) just fine so far. Of course it has just been a little over a week.

				   | Welcome to YT! I also think you will be better off with a boy puppy. A girl always needs a brother I think yorkie/maltese cross puppies are really cute. Good luck!
