| Well, Tila went to the groomer on Thursday. I was anxious the whole time she was there, I was hoping for the best. The groomer charged me $45, because I wasn't getting the yorkie cut and I wanted it shorter because it's too hot for her to have her hair long this summer. She said since she would have to use the buzzer thing I believe that it would be $45 instead of the $30 she first said. Fine. I called her once to set up the appt. and then once a day after to ask what the yorkie cut was and tell her once again that I wanted it shorter on her body, the pads of her feet done, and around her eye's and not to touch the top of her head because I wanted it to grow for a future top knot. I told her twice before Tila's appt. that her ears needed to be trimmed and shaved because they were flopping a little and may be getting a little heavy. I also told my parents who were dropping her off for me, to tell the groomer what I wanted once again. The groomer said, "Oh, yeah I know she's been calling." What?! I talked to her twice. So Tila comes home and the groomer cut her eyebrows a bit, her body is cut all choppy and just looks horrible. AND, AND she didn't even touch her ears!!!!! And the hair on her neck was still quite fluffy. The only good thing she did was around her eyes. I was soooo sad. I went to the city today and got myself one of those little trimmers and did her ears myself, I've never groomed a yorkie and have never done ears, but she looks TONS better. Oh, where oh, where are all the good groomers gone? I'll post pics tomorrow of what I did to her ears. |

| Btw. I know there are some awesome groomers out there. Any one of them willing to come to Alberta? lol. My first grooming experince though, I'm not happy about, and I'm going to go to a different one to see if she can fix Tila up a bit. Ugg, going to bed not feeling good. |

| ive recently cut kinnys hair myself for the first time, scissors first then clippers (once she got used to them ) I have her in the puppy cut , I left her ears and alot of her head as i like the shaggy look, just doing round her eyes. I am pleased with the first time effort and will not go to a groomers now. |

| Awww I know how it feels. If you'd like to take a drive to Saskatchewan I'll tell you about a couple good groomers lol. It took me a long time to find a good groomer here after moving. I've also had to try fixing it up at home. Hopefully you'll find someone great with the next try

| Goodness! It seems that everyday I read a post like this...makes me wonder if they listen at all? I know there are good ones and we probably just don't hear about them. I've not had a bad experience yet and to make sure I don't, I've decided to groom Abby and Daisy myself from now on. I'm so sorry that you are dissappointed. I would call her and tell her that she didn't do what you asked. Maybe she'll refund part of your money. Better luck next time.

| I'm sorry your grooming experience turned out that way but I promise you, If I can cut my baby's hair you will do just fine I was nervous to take Coby to anyone cause I didn't want him to be scared (which he normally is about unfamiliar things) and if anyone messed up my baby's hair it was going to be me...ha ha....but I went to petsmart and bought a complete grooming kit and watched the DVD and I was really suprised at how well I did.....At least if you did it yourself, you can save money and you'll cut it the way you want you baby to look and your baby will be at ease because you're mom....Good Luck and stay encouraged! |

| you should go back and get your moneys worth by making her cut more and doing what you asked with your supervision! |
