| Be very, very careful!!!! I just wanted to share this article - it's quite frightening, though, I have heard several stories like it: Pet thefts rise as economy hits dog-gone low - Pet health - MSNBC.com |

| Sad that people have to resort to stealing dogs or cats to make a buck !!! It's sick !!! Don't even want to tell anyone you have a yorkie! Should be stiffer fines ! And jail time too !

| Very sad! I totally agree. Of course, after working in the District Attorney's Office here for ten years, I had the unpleasant opportunity to see what people actually do to others - - it never ceases to amaze me how cruel people can be. Of course, now that I'm living out in the country with my 4 miniature horses, 10 rescued kitties, 4 rescued big farm dogs - - and Bella with her four babies now, the only thing I have to worry about when I take Bella out is some big old hawk swooping down and grabbing her!!! How awful would that be???? But Bella absolutely does not go out unless someone is with her. There's a lady up the road that has three Yorkies that she just lets run around her yard with no supervision - and they're always crossing the road. I just know one of the days, something's going to happen to those little guys. It is just so sad - these little ones really depend on us for their very lives!!! |
