Question about silver pups....

Captain Jack is 11 weeks old. His head has been changing to gold for a while, but his body is just starting to change. I was really hoping he would stay black, but now I can't wait to see what color he is going to be! I am thinking about waiting another week or two until the roots get a bit longer, and then shaving off all the black on his body. I will leave his head long. Has anyone else done this? I think he will look cute, but my husband thinks he will look silly.

My little Froto Baggens is the same way! We considered calling him "Gizmo" as the silver stuck straight up! He is almost 4 months.

Oh, yes, many people do. In this weather, he'll probably love you for it, but in the air-conditioning he may need a shirt. Just be warned. Muffin got shaved on a regular basis. She was hot blooded, but her hair was very thick. I don't shave Kacee, 'cause her hair is thin and she'd sunburn too easily. Hope this helps you decide.

if i didn't know, i would think those were pictures of geoffrey. she is almost 19 weeks and looks almost the exact same!

Isn't it crazy how they can look so much alike? However, he and Gracie don't look anything alike!
