In one of the interviews I saw online, the director of the rescue said the appeal could be as soon as sometime this week, so I hope someone that's in the know will pop in and tell us what's going on.

I heard him say that too, but I can't imagine the new lawyer getting the case ready that soon, but if they can just get postponements, that's what's important for now.

I'm putting it EVERYONE'S hands. I am going to Fed Ex to the Attorney General, the Governor, the District Attorney, the stupid Judge who made the WRONG decision and down the list of legislators who look like they can do anything. I am compiling the list tomorrow and Fed Exing on Aug 2nd so it will be in their grimy paws on Monday morning. They said in 10 days they would make a decision so unless I hear otherwise that should hit at the right time. Anyone's input would be greatly appreciated in rounding up info on names and addresses of who you think should receive this petition.
Thanks so much for everyone's help, and keep forwarding to anyone you can think of. I have joined so many groups and forums in order to post this, and am thrilled to say I see people forwarding the petition on alot of them. Big numbers, guys, lets go for the big numbers!!! Let them know we're watching, and we want those dogs PROTECTED!

I too just email and im'ed a lot of people at work and they signed it..at first they were worried that it was some sort of scam that people would get their info and contact them to spam them...i assure them not...and got all their signatures...
