Wow, sounds like someone needs to sign their computer off for a bit and take a chill pill. I know I've been frustrated with Lilly before. When I was in school Lilly also used to go all day without peeing and she IS pee pad trained. Good grief. |
I hadn't realized this thread was started so long ago. I'd be interested to see where the OP is now. On my few months here, I've seen a lot of problem behavior described, and it would be interesting to see how everything works out in the end. Do these yorkies ever get potty trained? Do they ever stop barking? Do they let you brush their teeth? We want to know! :) |
It never ceases to amaze me how NASTY some people on this board can be to humans. Makes you wonder how they really treat their pets. Anyway - update on Baxter -he turned one in December. He is pretty much house-trained now. Rarely has an accident. He's also starting to calm down some and we sleep through the night about 3 nights a week. He will play fetch as long as someone will throw the ball. He is a cherished member of our family and I dare to say spoiled rotten could be part of the problems we had in the beginning. He still hates to take a bath and both he and I are soaked when I get through bathing him. He's at the groomer's today. He loves to ride and was most excited to get to come to "town" today. Thanks for all the positive responses and I won't dignify the negative ones. Love this board. Most folks have been awful helpful!! |
So glad everything worked out for you and Baxter!! These little creatures are constantly testing us!!! |
I am glad he is doing better! I have 5 dogs and they all sleep in their own houses at night. Lately, my 8 month old biewer has decided 4 am is a great time to start barking. Honestly, I think the cats are going in and waking her up so I will get up, and they can try to steal my spot on the bed. The cats know they will get in trouble for sleeping in my spot, but I am sure they hear me comming back to bed and jump down looking all innocent. Perhaps I am being paranoid, but I am sure waking the puppy up is an evil cat plot and part of the cats plan to dominate the world.....Either that or the dog has got to go potty....I vote for evil cat plot!!:p |
