I hope they call you soon so you can have a big sigh of relief that your baby is ok! I'll be watching for an update.

I just heard from Dr D. He said she did fabulous and is doing great. Her 2 canine where still pretty attached, but he was able to work them out without breaking them. Yeah! So anyway, barring any complications she will be ready to come home tomorrow. Thanks everyone for the prayers and good thoughts. It makes going thru this so much easier knowing there are other people out there as 'crazy' as me about their babies. Now to just get thru the night without her being with me. I won't know what to do with all the extra room in the bed.

| I am so happy everything went well for Gracie. She is a beautiful dog. How old is she ? 6 months? my Suzi is 5 months, and I know she needs to go through the spaying and teeth pulling. But, she needs he Rabies shot done first.

| Teresa, I'm Mom to a Gracie too...who went through her spay 2 weeks ago. We brought her home the same day...that was good and bad, I guess. She was pretty pitiful...tired and sore. We had to take her pressure bandage off her foot (where she had the IV) and she cried! She recovered very fast...hardest thing was to restrict her activity for 10 days. Then at the 10 day mark, she came down with diarrhea...back to the vet to find out she has bacterial infection. She got a shot in her hind leg and is on 2 meds (one for a mild reaction to the stitches) and special ($$) food. (Apparently he ate something she shouldn't have...like bird or rabbit poo). I'm sure your Gracie will be fine...yorkies are very hardy despite their small stature. Lori |

| Well, we are home now. Had a little trouble getting her away from the staff, they had really fallen for her. She's motoring right along and this doesn't seem to have slowed her down a bit. Thanks again for everyone's support. It always helps to know you aren't alone.
