| Did I just get lucky or..... are all Yorkies this adorable and sweet? I adopted Tucker about 2 weeks ago. He is now 14 weeks old. He has gone on his wee wee pads 99% of the time since the day I brought him home. He has the most pleasant personality. He's not a barker and he is very easy going. If I catch him chewing on something, al I have to do is say his name in a lower voice and he stops immediately and mostly leaves the object alone. I put him in his x-pen beside my bed and he goes right to sleep until I sing him the "goodmorning" song when I get up the next morning. Then it's kisses, kisses and more kisses. I just purchased him a 5ft long play tube and can't wait to see him running through it. He absolutely is in love with my Granddaughter and plays with her for hours. On June 20th, I lost my best guy after only 8 years. He had diabetes and a secondary infection that the vet could not control. I was devastated and really didn't think I wanted another furbutt but then I found Tucker. The breeder was fantastic and it was love at first sight when I saw him. He has me wrapped around his little furry paw. Just wondered if most Yorkies are this darn sweet and lovable or did I just luck out? |

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | Love the pic of yr new baby Tucker & yr granddaughter! Well, of course, I think we are all Lucky to have them in our lives! Bella was easy too. She slept all night when I got her @2 months old. Potty trained easily too. YAY! She did go through a chewing phase, but thank goodness that didn't last. Hope to see lots more pics of Tucker!

| Your baby is precious and their is nothing like a Yorkie, Tricksie is so loving and smart. Your baby that you lost, was it overweight? Tricksie is a little over and I am having to cut down on the treats, that "my DH gives to her"!!!

| Yes, my MeKenzie was over weight. I had him on a diet since January. Cut all treats into 1/4's and cut down on his food (he lost weight) but the diabetes got hold of him. He literally got sick and died within 2 weeks time. I thought I was loving him by feeding him good food. He was such an adorable guy. I adopted him from the shelter 8 years ago. Little did I know at the time, I was harming him. This time with Tucker will be so much different. He gets his food measured out with very few treats in between. I was devasted when I had to leave MeKenzie to be put down that morning. I still don't remember driving home. Because of my supidity, he suffered and I will never forgive myself for that. |
