| Maybe this will help http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/bre...e-puppies.html or this... Top Yorkie Genetics Chocolate Yorkies Chocolate Yorkie Red Golden Blue Born Yorkshire Terrier I'm no expert, but I didn't think blue born yorkies had ANY tan or gold. My yorks are both really light, but neither are blue born. Hope some of this helps. Again, no expert, but compared to fthe pics I remember seeing, he just looks like an adorable york to me, and not blue born.

| He doesn't look blue born to me-typically a blue-born puppy doesn't live very long. I think Bailey just has a blue coat, which is perfect for yorkies! He's adorable!

| I don't think he is a blue born either, his coat looks very nice and that is far from a trait of a blue born. How old is he? Do you have any pictures of him as a baby?

| I know this an older thread, but I'm a new member who has a blue born yorkie and just wanted to share the pics, in case anyone is still interested. The pictures below show my Silvia from three weeks, six months, eighteen months and four years old:

| I don't think so. Blue borns usually have very little hair and leathery skin. Most don't survive more than a few months. Are those two from the same litter or related? One of mine has very sparse hair but def not a blue born.

| Our member KendraE has blue born Mac, who has done pretty well. Here is a thread with a slide show of him from a few years ago, and she has many other threads about him: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...ate-again.html

| They are from the same litter.. The front and legs are the only place he has any long hair. The hair on his back is coarse and not even 1/2 inch long. |
