| Please help me Okay, another clothing issue. LOL! Again, anyhoo I got a pattern off the net, but I can't resize it. I wanted to make some dresses this weekend since I'm off. But I'm not computer savvy and I can't resize the pattern. Anyone know how to resize it, or have a smaller dress pattern? Again, sorry to be going about my clothing issues here. Thanks. |

| I really don't know how, but I would just use some tissue paper or pattern paper and put the current pattern under it and just make it smaller

Senior Yorkie Talker | Shrink clothes pattern If the pattern is saved on your computer try shrinking it by using the printer options. For windows based programs press "ctrl" and "p" buttons at the same time. That brings up the screen with the printer attached to your system. there is a button on the top right that says properties click that button. It brings up another screen click on the tab that says advanced then click on the icon that has the letter A(this is the sizing icon) then you are given a few options for scaling check the one that says "Free [25-100%]" then use the down arrows to adjust it to the size that you want. This will shrink it by the percent of the original (ie for a patter 75% of the original sixe put in 75%). Press ok - then you are taken back to the other print window press okay again. It should print to the requested size. Just remember you may need to change this back if you need to print something else later. Hope this helps.
