| Welcome to YT. There is lots of information here and sure we will get you some help. Be patient she has come from a rough life and she wants to make sure you are there with her always. You have to gain her trust and that will be hard to get her retrained. But I would say the short periods of time is right. Also make sure she has things to do to redirect her from what she doesn't like. (the caged in feeling) I feel with your TLC she will come to trust and be fine.
