| Senior Yorkie Talker  |  I say follow the advice of an expert on this one. I can't say I have had a situation like this. My pup is afraid of the carpet cleaner, but my carpets need to be cleaned. He usually goes to his xpen where he feels comfortable. He comes out when the cleaner is put away. However, I would talk to the expert in this area. Good luck.
