| Incontinence in a Puppy? Is there such a thing? A few weeks ago, on the drive back from the beach, I noticed Coral's pillow was wet. The same thing happened last night. Tonight, she dribbled pee all over the comforter. The first two times I didn't think much of it because the liquid was clear and it wasn't soaked- just damp. Also, they all lick their paws a lot so sometimes that'll make the couch, bed, etc. damp. She pees normal regularly, drinks water, etc. so nothing else is different. Any suggestions? Anyone experienced a similar situation? She has a vet checkup later this week so I'll ask about it then, I'm just curious...

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | How old is she? I think I would have her checked for a bladder infection.

| If all checks out well at the vet it could be submissive peeing. This is about the age that it starts to show up. Usually it is done when you are bending over her from standing, like in going to pick her up. I hope that it is neither one and that it was just a fluke.

Submissive peeing using happens when they are excited, like when someone has just gotten home. I know that many people have said that their females got bladder infections after spaying, and this was the main symptom, and these dogs had been house broken, and it started suddenly.

| No, her appointment isn't until Thursday. Honestly, I think she is just being lazy and being where she wants (as she regularly does) or is just licking her paws so much as Britney and Brooklyn occasionally do. If it was pee I would think it'd be yellow as it when she uses the pad.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Dixie did the pee in her sleepthing alot but she had kidney disease. Her pee was clear and had no odor. Cali did it once when she had a bladder infection. If possible take ina urine sample when you go to the vet. Hopefully she is just a sound sleeper and having little accidents while sleeping.
