Oh my goodness sweetie, I am so sorry to hear about Jersey :( I really have no advice to give, but seeing that there are alot of replies to your thread, I'm sure that there are many other members who have already offered some of their great advice :) I just feel so bad for you and your family - and for little Jersey as well, because maybe there really IS an underlying problem :( If only our babies could REALLY "talk" to us and tell us exactly what's wrong :( I do hope you find some answers soon and can resolve this problem that you are having with her. I'm sure that she really IS a sweet girl....all she needs is a little help :( I will be praying that you find it :hands: Big hugs to you all  |
Wow! I also say go with your instincts and do what you think is best for Jersey! I feel so bad for her, because she didn't choose to be this way:( She still sounds sweet! I hope you're able to find out what it is, this must be hard on the whole family!! Good luck and keep us updated! We can always learn something from each other... |

I think this is a very valid possibility as I have seen this happen many times. I know one Yorkie that became ferral trying to become alpha. The dog would hid, hord food, bite, snarl and only let one person near her. The person that owned her spend over 2000.00 on behavor training and she became the sweetest thing. I wish I still had contact with her as I would get you in touch but I lost contact last year when she moved. |
