| Belly Bands (again) Ok - I finally got Tucker some belly bands and I think they have saved his life!! However, I'm not sure how long is too long to keep them on him. We've been leaving on them while we're at work (about 8 1/2 -9 hours) and then we let him breathe until bed time (although he has used the breathing time as free to pee time). So my question is - if I leave these on him too long can they be harmful? I don't want it to irritate his skin or anything. Thanks!!

| I bought really soft non irritating ones and i don't think they can hurt them if you change the pads when they are soiled. We wear clothes almost all day everyday and we are fine. I think it is the same for dogs if the "clothes" are of comfortable fabrics and are clean. |

| I don't believe so I think the worst that can happen is he will pee on himself....and it will be incomfortable and wet on him

| Thanks guys. I have been changing the pads often & the fabric doesn't seem to irritate him - infact he doesn't even fight with me when it's time to put them on which really surprised me!! I was just afraid I was doing something wrong - I'm such a nervous mommy!

| I got mine from Rena too! I bought camoflage because I thought it would make him feel macho even though he was wearing a diaper!! (I think way too mcu about these things!!) He can be kind of tough when I put clothes on him - but I think that's because he doesn't like things going over his head. He doesn't mind the belly bands at all!

| They wrap around the boys belly and cover up his winkie so they don't pee all over the house. My Tucker was marking all over the house & something had to be done!!! They are a lifesaver (Tucker's life that is!!)
