| Grooming...Mixed Breeds? Just wondering, my handsome Shaggy is 10 months old now. He is part yorkie/dachshund. He has the body features of a yorkie but his nose is kinda long like a dachshund. And Wow all of a sudden this little guy is becoming fluffy as all get out! He doesn't have the silky coat, but it's more of the cottony. I have tried grooming him myself, and once I'm done he is fit to sit on the throne. But then he does his little shaky, shaky dance; and then his a fluffy mess again. Is it normal to groom mixed breeds, or is he supposed to look like that. lol Any suggestions? |

| He's a cute lil feller. I don't know about the mix. I would be guessing when I say that he still might have his puppy coat?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Sure you can groom mixed breeds. Some breed's hair doesn't grow very long, so your choice of styles isn't as wide, but you can still get them groomed, and his hair may be more like a yorkie and grow very long.
