| My husband came out to see what I was doing and he grabbed the camera because Sadie was being so funny grabbing all the weeds as I would pull them up. She was actually helping me pull some of them out of the ground and she bit my hand sometimes too thinking she had the weed. So here's one of the pictures of her and I in the garden and she's dragging a weed away to shake it to death. LOL. Last edited by BethPurk; 07-10-2008 at 07:22 PM. |

| Cayenne Pepper If you are really concerned about the digging, try spreading cayenne pepper in the spots your dog digs. It is harmless to your plants and your baby. They smell the cayenne pepper and it makes them move on. I grew up with a true digger (he would have dug to China if we let him) but we had heard of using cayenne pepper. You can buy it in bulk at Sams or Costco. You may have to sprinkle it all over to encourage them not to dig but it truly works. Scooter is not a digger so I have never had to use it on him but having used it in the past, I promse it works. If it rains thoug, you will have to put more out if they continue to dig because it does dissolve. Good luck!!

Thanks for the advice! I am not worried about her digging though as long as I can teach her when and where to dig! | |

| I can't let Ziggy dig at the beach any more because he gets too excited and eats the sand! Last weekend he did this but I didn't know until he pooped a sandcastle the next day. I'm not kidding it was pure sand no poop. Boy that must have hurt!
