bath time trauma

I really have tried to make it playful for them...Pucci more so that GiGi wants NO part of it. He does not think of play or treats AT ALL. This is why it is so difficult....Now that I have given it some more thought...when I took him home the day of his puppy grooming he was very quite and unemotional....I think this jerk did scare him very much. I had thought he was quite because he did not like having his hair cut short....I had heard at that time that cats and dogs can get very touchy about their looks. And not knowing better as a pet owner I see how now I thought that at the time instead of searching for another reason for his quietness.

I see that I must handle this another way with him and it will take some time to work through this with him. GiGi will support him in anything cause she knows that is his very obedient and will only "act out" if necessary that is why she is picking up the habit. she actually used to sit in the sink water...I don't know if she will now...she hasn't lately.

He is usually a very content , playful and happy dog that is why I am so confused over this. I am wondering if he is connecting the groomer episode to me in that I let him down and it has just not yet been resolved...wow you never know what is in their minds.

I think he will be ok once I start addressing the issue...but that will not be easy....
