Prayers coming your familys way. I know how hard it is having a little one in surgery. My daughter had life treatening surgery when she was 5 months old and just 8 pounds. They told me she probebly wouldnt make it through the surgery but without the surgery she would have died. So she was a fighter and defied all odds TWICE! I am sure your niece is a fighter too!

Mya came out of surgery and is now in recovery...she is such a strong lil girl. Her mom finally has a little peace I hope she sleeps tonight.

If the tumor is fully contained when they go in there then yes it is a good idea to have chemo or radiation but there is an excellent chance it won't come back from what I understand. I know this condition is very painful and often misdiagnosed.
Yes we will send prayers for an uneventful surgery.
