| Suzi the Escapologist I only got my new puppy Suzi yesterday. So when we went shopping this morning. (We were out for an hour.) We put her in her crate with toys etc. Katie is potty trained so she as the downstairs to explore. When we returned they were both behind the door. Suzi has escaped. When we checked the crate which has a tray and thickish pad in. She had managed to move the tray and pad and squeezed through a 3inch maximum gap We don't propose to leave her in the crate often, but if we do I'm so scared she would get stuck. Luckily we've found that if we turn the crate over it does have this gap. It's a large crate which is probably more for a large dog but we thought it would be better and more roomy for the toys and pee pee pad. Katie never did this but she was 4 months when we got her so would be able too. If there's a gap anywhere and she can get through it Suzi will. I have to have eyes in the back of my head. lol. |

| Wow! I love the terminology, escapologist, LOL That had to be a little scary though, thinking about if she would have gotten stuck. So happy all was ok. Have you considered an ex-pen?

| We have one of those too! Camden stays in a regular playpen with a mesh covering and today, she somehow managed to climb or jump and land on the railing and scale down the other side between the playpen and mesh! They are determined when they want to be!
