| Well I googled the breeders name and there were several complaints. One being that someone bought a Shi tzu and as it grew up the dog didn't look right. The person went as far as DNA testing and found it was Llasho & Shi tzu. They contacted the breeder and was told, "We have alot of dogs, so she probably was gotten by a Llasho". (Great!!!) That is one of the reasons I was questioning??!! I just wanted some other opinions. I am in no means saying that all breeders in MO. are bad, but a lot of pet shop dogs come from MO. (at least out in Vegas) and we know that they buy from puppymills.

| I understand that there are bad breeders everywhere. But lots of times I hear people say that there dog was bought in MO and everyone assumes that means trouble...I am sorry that people have had bad experiences with MO breeders! I have seen some of the places around this state and IT hurts my feelings and I do mean HURT! My dogs are in the house! They do have their own room and a doggie door that goes out on to a 8 X 10 porch and a 20 X 30 private yard. By private I mean that none of our other dogs can get in there with out us allowing them in. Of course all of my babies think that they are 10 feet tall and bullet proof!! I love my babies very dearly. They all get to come out of their room daily...(I have young grandkids) I have to supervise them...I will post pics soon of all my babies. My computer is in the shop and I am operating off of hubbies laptop!!!!I am not trying to be rude but I do take offense to assuming that all MO breeders are bad!!! |

| I'm far from being any kind of expert, but she sure looks like a Yorkie to me. Whatever the outcome, I could just hug her to pieces! Her face is soooooo adorable.

| If you want to know 100% sure then get a DNA test done. I am jst learning about the differences in both the two breeds, and still confused.

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | You may want to think in advance before using 'poorly bred' to talk about someones yorkie. If you would have replied with that comment to my thread I would have not taken kindly to it. I'm sure you would think my Teddy, Krissy, and Kayla were poorly bred too. It really isn't necessary to hurt someones feelings pointing that out. I have an over weight daughter that has diabetes - guess she was poorly bred!

| Both of the comments about being "poorly bred" are in poor taste!! Very rude comments since the OP wasn't asking if she should show or breed her dog. She is her beloved pet and I think that those comments were uncalled for and you should apologize.

| I was a little offended at first, but I DID ASK FOR PEOPLES OPINIONS. (Just like I offended the person from MO., I know I meant no ill will to breeders in MO.!! It just happened that the one she is from is far from GREAT). I try not to take things personally, especially on the internet. Life is too short to worry about it. Thank you for sticking up for Gabby. (We have changed her name twice now!) Poor girl is confused. LOL. We love how she looks!

| Thank you. I still feel bad about the one in Utah, but God lets things happen for a reason. I just pray that the woman no longer has her!!

| I Love My Babies Donating Member | Hi Vegas. I don't think anyone on here meant to be taken as rude. I know that you didn't. People sometimes talk before they think. Anyway, I love the looks of your new baby. She is definately cute... and she is so lucky to have you as her mommy. You were meant to be together. Have fun with her and enjoy all the love you will be recieving from her. It doesn't really matter what she is.. she is yours and you are wonderful for rescuing her.

| If your concerned that you could do the DNA testing, however my guess is that it doesn't really matter that much to you. I think that your baby looks like a yorkie, so I say yorkie it is!
