| Home grooming Does anyone else cut their dogs hair at home? I've done Odie's before, but he has like wiry fur. It's simple for him, since I've been doing it for awhile now. I just clip and shave. But, Tila needs to be done because it's sooo hot. I know she's uncomfortable. She walks around panting. I'd like to take her to the groomer, but we have one thats at a pet store and it isn't the cleanest place let me tell you. There's also a local rescue here in my town, they do grooming, but Tila hasn't had her third shots yet and I don't feel comfortable taking her there because they have a lot of rescue dogs in the house and yard. They haven't all been vacc'ed yet, they do get them while they're there but they don't usually have them until then. It's a great rescue. So if I do deciede to do it myself anyone have any pointers or tips. And does anyone have any pics of cuts? Thanks. I will be very, very careful if I do. |

| I groom my girls myself now i shave them down and do a round cut on their face. it takes a while to get good i have been doing it for almost a year because the grooming bills were getting a little expensive. i think they like it better they dont have to go to a staranger and its a good bonding time. I love it but it is a lot of work
