Welcome to YT! You did a very good, decent thing Taking home a little guy that was sick, and knowing that the vet bills would be coming. You have plenty of love to give, AND Riley is very lucky to have you. He sounds adorable. I hope he starts feeling better quickly. Nobody likes to see a little pup ill. I hope you stay around, and enjoy it in here.

How small was your lil guy? He may just have not been getting the nutrients he needs from his mama, and if she was not fed properly, then that may be the problem.

well he weighed in at the vets this mornign at 4lb..he is 14 weeks old so she said the wieght was ok..he had a long trip home yesterday,,and then the vets this morning,,he is resting comfortably right now....this was a big day for him..so im gonna let him rest a bit and mabey take some pictures tonight, he is such a little cutie..he is becoming less shy already..he is not running away from us now..I dont think he was socialized very well. but i think he is learning that he can trust us. he is eating and drinking and looking better already, im crossing my fingers that the antibiotic takes care of his conjestion. we will know in a few days.

Awwww I bet he is just so ahppy to be with his new mommy! How exciting!

Sounds like he is a good size. When does he go back to the vet?

Welcome, I am new here too, getting my baby next Friday! Post pictures, can't wait to see him and I hope he is feeling better soon. Sounds like Riley Blue found himself a great momma!
