| scratching feet on floor? okay, not sure if i'm supposed to post this in the general forum, but i didn't know where else to put it... does anyone know why Kash scratches his feet on the floor like a bull? i've read threads on YT about yorkies doing this after the poop or pee or when they're playing, but sometimes Kash just does it for no reason. i'll just be sitting there not paying attention to him and he'll be scratching his feet on the floor. i'll turn around to look at him and he'll keep doing it. is he trying to tell me something? does he want to play? does he have to go to the bathroom? i thought it might be the potty thing, but i took him out and stood out there for 15 minutes and no pee or poo. just wondering if it's normal or if i should question it. thanks!

| Nico will stand by the water bowl if there is no water in it and scratch his feet. |

| This is a normal behavior for a Yorkie . Mingtoy does that often . I have friends that have other Terrier breeds and they do it too . |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | All my Yorkies do it and so does my Chi/Pom mix. They do it when they want attention or want to play.

| It is normal Yorkie behavior. Even the pups started floor scratching at 8 weeks. It is hilarious 'cause sometimes they get over excited and lose their balance! |
