Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I hate bathing Tucker. He's miserable and I don't like having to hold him down to get him clean. I love afterwords though...when I put a towel down and he runs around like a mad man drying off.

| Ever tried putting them in the shower with you? Dakota tries to get in with everyone! Pete isn't as fond but it's a very easy way to bath them. |

| Bella hates bath day. She likes to look pretty but hates getting wet. She's gotten better about it and now only really hates the blow drying part. I have been putting off her bath for a few days but she has to have it today. So it should be fun.

| Lily is only 4 months old so she doesn't have real long hair and I let her air dry?? I have used the blow dryer but she hates it and I thought maybe it dried her out more so I have just let her air dry and she runs like crazy and seems to dry fast?? I wouldn't do that if it was cold out but now I hope it's ok?? I am taking her to be groomed for her first time next week.....how old do ya all think is good time to start?? Her nails need cut and she is getting matted on her tummy and legs and a few places real close to her skin and I can't seem to break them up. I hope this is just a puppy fur thing?? She does scratch alot and I can't find any fleas?? If I am doing it wrong someone please tell me!! She doesn't fight the water part at all just the brushing/combing and the drying throws her into a real FIT!!lol I have been using something on her everyday at least once a day though just to try to get her used to brushing/combing her. She HATES it!! I plan to keep her cut short and not a full coat so hopefully she will get better w/age?? |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I only have Zoey but she is a big old PIA. I have to hold her with one hand and bathe her with the other. You would think by now at her age of 9 months she would be use to the idea that yes you do have to bathe. It's something else. Lulu was the same damn way. I usually air dry at this time of year and in the fall and winter I blow dry.

| I can't bathe Suzi often because she has such dry skin.... She actually likes to be wet though!, but, not rinsed I towel dry her, and brush her while her coat is still wet. It is very warm here. She is funny though, cause I had taken her outside a couple of days and the sprinklers were on... She had a ball! Suzi also loves to play in her water bowl. There is a new product out right now. It is a dog bather that has a spray. It is suppose to do everything. You spray the shampoo on, and rinse. I saw it advertised and it looks cool . You can buy it at Petsmart.
