You would do better to find a breeder out of NYC that you TRUST. Maybe one of the members who have been on YT a long time. Or a local breeder you can meet in person.
I help in rescue as well and I get things like this all the time from people wanting to adopt one of the dogs. They always want to send more money and have you send some back. It seems there are more dishonest people than honest left in the world.

They are for free adoption,what you will need to do is pay $160 for each of the puppies so all you will have to pay is $320 if you are willing to adopt both puppies as i am willing to complete the flight to send them back to you, i do not want to border you to pay the shipping when i can do that, it may delay my puppies from getting a home. it is 9hours flight to send them back to the states and they will be micro chipped and travel with enough food and water, and i will also send them with all papers so get back t us as soon as you can.Thanks

I am in Missouri and my Lucy was advertised at $800, but I ended up paying $600 because she was the biggest in the litter. We wanted the bigger puppy so that worked out for us. And...at the last minute, my husband didn't want to spend that much money on a dog, so we emailed the breeder and he lowered his price a little since my daughter had her heart set on Lucy only! That was very nice I thought!

Yes, this is a scam. They want to get your money and send you no puppy. Sadly, there is no puppy. Yes, I agree, please find a reputable breeder here on yorkietalk or in your area. Good Luck and I hope you find your new furbaby real soon.

I live in Lancaster, PA. and Yorkies go for males 500 and up and females 800-up. If you go to the Amish @ their websies you can get them as cheap as 250.00, but I would'nt suggest it. This area is Puppy Mill Central. I found a breeder in Washington Boro, PA. that the A.K.C. recommended and I got Baron from her for $600.00 on a limited reg. He's a beautiful, happy, healthy puppy who just turned 9 months old. I LOVE him soo much... If it sounds too good to be true, it is!!! Please be careful... :aimeeyork Baron's Mom

The prices range here from about 700 and up.

You can luck out and find one for less if you search and search. thats what I did.

I found a gorgeous male for $200. he was CKC. Unfortunately I was unable to get him due to family issues. (Mother-in-law had a heart attack) The breeder was wonderful, friendly. Sent pics and answered all of my questions. I was going to her house to get him. She just wanted him to find the right home. He was more, but she dropped him for me.

I was really sad that I lost out on getting him. :(

My baby was $1300 + the cost of spaying(which here is almost $400) (Non breeding agreement).

where i live they range from $250 to 1200...i guess it all depends...but for $190 i will assume its a scam...hehe

I've seen puppies priced from £200 to about £600 - £800. I bought Twinkle for £350 - so about middle of the range....saying that though her* breeder thinks she'll be over the the breed standard in size so sold her a little cheaper with the understanding that we'll have her spayed at 6mths.

Vast is 100% scam! Read up about the African Puppy Scam, it's horrible what they do to people and those who fall for it. After I lost Buddy, I found vast and thought I found the girl of my dreams... after he dropped where his location was, I knew it was a scam.... HE even quoted the bible!

After doing research, I found a nice breeder from a nice family and got my Yorkie puppy for $800. I had to travel about an hour outside of Staten Island (part of NYC) to get him, but it was worth the trip.

Oh my God, I am so sorry to hear about your wife. I just recently lost my father and I understand the heartache you are feeling.

I've had a Yorkie, named Buddy, who lived to 19 years old. The only stress he had in his life were the times he had to go to the vet or groomer. Buddy lost his life to cancer and since then my home has been even emptier (especially since my family has lost my father). The joy of a puppy will bring a happier spirit to my home, hence the reason I made a search and found your ad.

I will be happy and answer any questions you have to prove this is an animal loving home and Velma would be in no danger of being rehome or used in any barbaric acts. Little Velma will have the run of my house and a large yard. I never questioned if your were telling the truth or not, I was questioning the procedure for having an animal shipped from Africa to New York. $120 is not going to cover what will need to be put out for her to arrive in NY. After you find out the cost for shipping and sots, please send me the bill so we can at least go half. Also, could you scan and send me her vet records... I want to see her health before sending you the money. since I thought you were in New York, I figured we can do this all in person, I am now learning that we need to do this over the internet.

That Camroon scam has been around all over the place. Never fall for something like that !
I'd never send money for a live animal over the internet . It is best to meet the breeder and the dog parents.

tHAT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE 190 TOO TOO CHEAP.I LIVE IN OTTAWA,ONTARIO CANADA- tHE DOG IS PROBABLY SICK-FROM MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS LADY SHE WAS CHARGING 1000.00 FOR A MORKIE/YORKIE.I WENT TO HER FARM HOUSE WHICH WAS AN HOUR AND A HALF DRIVE JUST THERE,ALL THE DOG'S SMELLED LIKE URINE AND POOP-DISCUSTING-SHE TALKED ME INTO BUYING THIS LITTLE DOG IT WAS 1 LB AND WAS 7 WEEK'S OLD-HER DAUGHTER Was the one showing me and my friend around,my problem is I have no taste or smell(from having my son year's ago)so I didn't smell it,but,when I went to the bathroom it was totally disgusting -the dog she sold me was white with black around the eyes cute little guy/I gave her a deposit of 200.OO AND WHEN I WENT HOME MY FRIEND MENTIONED HOW SMALL THE DOG WAS ANYWAy's the lady kept putting me off all the time so,after a month which would make the dog 12 week's old and she finally told me oh I want to keep the dog for another couple of week's,so I WAITED AGAIN ANDS AFTER 2 MORE WEEK'S I CALLED AND ASKED HER IF THE DOG WAS READY by this time I'm getting very frustrated she finally said the dog had hypoglycemia .So,i TOLD HER i DID NOT WANT A SICK DOG(AND i really wanted a yorkie-which she already knew-anyway\'s she\'s start\'s yelling at me oh you bought a new dog that\'s why you don\'t want my dog,I told her she should return my 200.00 deposit and i was nice enough to give her a huge crate for big dog\'s which I had paid 300 for,she to this day has never returned my deposit,so those of you that hear about a place in ST.EUGENE,ONTARIO DON\'T BUY FROM HER SHE IS DEFINTELY RUNNING A PUPPY MILL.sHE ISN\'T A VERY NICE LADY AND i saw her on this site after I BOUGHT MY YORKIE WHO IS HEALTHY AND SO ADORABLE AND HE CAME FROM A HOME WHERE THERE WERE ONY 4 PUP\'S AND THEY WERE ALL PAPER TRAINED AT 7 WEEK\'S-THEY WERE SUCH NICE PEOPLE i REALLY LUCKED OUT HAVING A PUP FROM THEM HE COST ME 800.00 WITH HIS FIRST SHOT\'S-SO DON\'T BUY THAT DOG UNLESS YOU SEE WHERE HE COME\'S FROM I certainly wouln\'t but,it\'s so hard because there\'s so many bad people out there pup\'s go for between 800-2000 here,good luck in finding a really nice yorkie-they are your best friend that\'s for sure love my yorkie-uncondionally
