| UPDATE: Dixie and Teddy; sorry so long... Well it has been a week since we picked up Dixie and Teddy from North Carolina and had the transmission blow in our van. (No, we still don't have the van yet!) Just wanted to update everyone on how well they are doing! We took them to the vet last Monday. Dixie weighed 2 lbs and 11 oz (at 10 weeks) and Teddy was 1 lb and 10 oz. They both had a clean bill of health! They didn't get any shots, they will get those in about two or three weeks when we bring them back. They have a large Xpen in the living room, shower curtian and towels on the floor to protect the carpet. Piddle pad in one corner, food in one, bed/toys in the others. They are both doing soooo well with the piddle pad, the only problem we have is that they step in it, so they end up getting a bath about once or even twice a week! They have been out romping in the front yard, my little lawn mowers, they like to pull the grass out of the ground. Not eat it, just pull it up. They other day we took them out and they found a stick. Well, Dixie just thought that was the coolest thing. She loved playing Keep-Away with Teddy. They are doing great with car rides. They have been up to my college several times and were held and played with by everybody. Then we drove up to West VA this past weekend to see Grandma. They did so great, they slept the entire way there!! I will try to get pictures up by this weekend, I know you all are dying to see that babies! With nursing school over at 10:30, I barely have time to sleep before getting up to go to work at 7:00! I will try very hard though!!! |

| They are not related. They are from different litters. My mom is thinking of breeding them, but only once. And Dixie is going to have to be a year old first. Don't know if that will happen. We may have to get Teddy fixed and get a stud for Dixie if we do decide to breed her! |

Glad to hear your babies are doing good! If you decide to breed Dixie, she needs to be atleast 18 months-2 years old, so she is physically and mentally ready to have puppies and properly care for the puppies and not cause harm to her. I can't wait to see pic's of you babies!!!
