| Trooper ate a roach!! I am new to the site and am a little scared. My boy Trooper ate a roach about an hour ago. By the time I saw what he had done, it was too late. His stomach is now making really loud noises which is concerning cause he is a little guy. He only weighs three pounds so I don't know if this is something that I should take him to the vet for?!? He seems to be fine other than his stomach making noises. He's running around the office as usual being a pistol and playing with all his toys, so I don't know? Thanks for any feedback or thoughts on this matter. |

| I think he'll be fine. Call your vet if it will make you feel better though. Actually, I think it's kind of funny. Sorry! Go, Trooper!

| Welcome to YT! These little guys get into everything don't they? I'll never forget the time someone posted that their baby ate a mole! (She was fine by the way.)

| I think Trooper will be ok. Its just some protein. I wouldn't suggest a steady diet of roaches but I don't think one will hurt him. You'd be surprised at the germs that get on their toys and sticks they pick up outside. |

| if his stomach is making noises , maybe its hunger pains... when your hungry you eat anything, and roaches will do

| WELCOME TO YOU AND TROOPER! First of all I would like to welcome you to YorkieTalk. I am so glad that you joined our family. Now about Trooper. Unless your home has been treated with chemical poisons to kill the roaches, I think Trooper will be fine. Just think of it as a little high protein snackiepoo. |

| Thank you so much for the responses, I feel better now. My office has not been treated for roaches so I guess he'll be fine. They are going to spray for roaches later this week so I will not be bringing him in after they do that. I hope to learn alot from this site so I can be more knowledgeable for my little man. |
