| tired puppy? OK, here I go being the worrier that I am, but anyway I am gonna ask.....I took my 8 month old Buttons to the beach this weekend. She acts sooo tired, do you think the change from her being home and playing breifly on the beach would make her so sleepy and tired acting?? THis morning she just acted like she didnt want to play but stay in her bed. It was just not my normal puppy. So should I worry or just accept she is worn out?

| Make sure she eats. If she is not eating you need to get some Nutrical, karo syrup, or honey down her. She may be having a hypoglycemic attack. Can she hold her head up? She maybe did not eat yesterday like she normally does, and also if she played all day she probably needed more food than normal. |

| Yeah she holds her head up and walks around but then wants to go back and lay down. I am thinking it is from not eating like she normally does cause she was in a strange place this weekend. Thanks! Quote:

| It is good that she can walk about. Offer her food, you may even have to get her some canned food to entice her to eat extra calories when she is going to be extra active. When you go to the beach don't forget to pack her some special treats to offer her during the day. It does not hurt to take a tube of Nutrical or Nutristat (same thing only a bit cheaper. I asked the company) with you and offer a "treat" of it a couple of times. I always carry a tube of it in my car. (Along with a water dish and a bottle of water.) |

| my little one gets out of sorts if his routine is different. We go boating on the weekends and it takes him a day or so to get back to normal.
