At the same time Babydollyorkies.com site came down another site (Yorkiecuties.com) went right up! For those of you who don't know about Babydollyorkies, it was a site where a puppy broker sold puppies claiming to be a breeder! Both site are VERY similar in terms of pictures, prices, Vocabulary & even the over sized bows on the puppies heads! Yorkiecuties.com is also in the Sacramento area, same as babydollyorkies!! WOW! So either this is just a BIG Coincidence or Theresa (Thahn) (teresa) Voqui is at it again! Regardless, if you are planning on buying a puppy from this site I would HIGHLY suggest thinking twice and doing all your homework!! If this is not the same person, my apologies. But I don't think I'm wrong!

how did you find out she was a puppy broker??

I was wondering what happens to those pups that are not bought???

I found out Theresa Voqui was a broker because she wasn't the breeder. She was selling some other persons litter from Parks, Ak. She claimed she was the actually breeder but later the truth unfolded! As for the puppies, I don't think she has a problem selling them! That's why she continues wheeling & dealing the puppies like old car parts! She sells a litter and has one shipped in days later! She always has 'NEW PUPPIES'! She buys the puppies from breeders in the midwest for cheap ($300) and then sells the Yorkies for $2,000+. It's horrible!

Please never buy your dog from a website, a good breeder would never sell this way. Many good breeders have web sites, but don't sell their dogs through them. Buying through the web is worse than buying at a pet store. Always meet with your breeder in person. If people would stop buying through websites and puppy stores, we could close the puppy mills down without even making new laws.

i was looking at her site and found this puppy named lili... 8oz at 8 weeks? Is that possible?.. in the pics though she is cute but she kinda looks like a hamster :p

Is it just me or is that tiny pup not that healthy looking? Her eyes just look off to me, but I'm not a breeder and could be wrong. I just can't imagine that tiny girl living that healthy a life, even if she is cute.

Thats kind of sad... How does one tell the difference between a puppy mill and a real breeder?

i dont know about her but there is a boy on taht page that has been "reduced" and he is being advertized as having nice huge eyes. his eyes ARE HUGE, but not cute at all. they are so far apart that it makes him look mentally challenged :thumbdown poor thing probably has some issues

A breeder will welcome you to their home where it won't smell and you can see mom and the sire. A breeder will give you references of their vet and former customers. A breeder has answers for your questions--like who the parents are, where the siblings are, etc. There are many red flags when you go to a puppymill.

Oh that above comment just makes me sick!! :mad: I am so glad you found that though! There are many other breeders that need to be tracked too! How were you able to find that? Is it something public that someone like me with "limited" computer skills could do? Thank you SO MUCH for that info, as I am a Sacramento resident and people at the Dog Park ask about that site all the time. Now that you have confirmed it is babydoll, who I know for a FACT was a broker, then I will DEFINITELY spread the word around here! Did this person also advertise in the sac. Bee? I have seen ads on there that the Yorkies are extremley overpriced? Wondering if it is the same person? :aimeeyork

Yes she does advertise there and MANY other websites along with Pennysaver, etc. She advertises EVERYWHERE. All we can do is spread the "buyer beware" word all over too.

Well, I always invite people to come to my home. They see my children, all my dogs. I do not ..bring them from other rooms or just get one puppy at a time to come out. You can tell! Follow your gut. You come to my house my dogs may bark at you but you can see they are fed, well groomed etc. The house does not stink and there is no poo laying around. lol
One lady was a little upset because she could not hold a newborn puppy. In my house you can see them and Momma but you may not hold them until Momma doesn;t seem upset with someone touching her babies. Don't be put off by not being able to hold a newborn. At the least you SHOULD be asked to wash or sanitise your hands!


It should "feel" right to you.

The zip codes are located in San Fan and the (415) area code and this is where She currently claims to be living. Yorkievill, ca? Please? What does this look like? Flake...I guess if everyone was out to get me I wouldn't be posting my real address either though! If this isn't the same person that I would be shocked! also the name "Pham" I believe is her mothers name or her family names. I've seen the name of paperwork when we went Animal control to her name!

Regardless I don't think anyone from here will be buying puppies from this broker.
I've also heard that you pick a puppy from her page and she sends a completely different one.

I live close to Sac, in Roseville area... I will spread the word as well! I looked at this site MANY times ..with the same pictures...before I got the wild man Marley!

Is this woman definitely bad news? I just met a woman in SF with a beautiful yorkie and she raved and raved about the breeder - yorkiecuties.com. Actually, I am almost positive she said the breeder's name was Teresa. She apparently lives nearby, so I could go check out her house. It sounds like I should keep looking though. ?

I would keep looking; beware of people who rave about breeders. That happens all the time, and sometime they've only had the dog a few months, and they have no idea of the genetic problems that their dog has. Other times they rave because they get a commission from the breeder. You could take a look and let us know, but it's a strong person who can walk away from a Yorkie puppy.
