How Much Did You Pay?
 
I'm just curious where we all got our dogs from, what breed are they, if they were sent to us on a plane or picked up in person and how much we paid.

Codie (Maltese) was $1,000 and I bought him at Quality Canine in Brooklyn, NY.

Katie (Yorkie) was $1,200 and I bought her at Quality Canine too.

I bought bentley from a breeder 2 hours away from my house and paid $550 for him

I think my girls were very reasonably priced - and I didn't go broke getting them -

800 for Chanel
900 for Cheri

I couldn't be happier !

Logan (yorkie) $400 and i had to drive 3 hours to get him. Got him from a lady that had just a male and female that she bred. A friend of mine got a girl from her a year ago and I just loved her pup. I couldn't be happier.

Well I don't know if you want to know aobut ALL of our dogs or just the yorkies but here are all of mine.

My sister got Bosco(Siberian Husky/German Shepard mix) for $75 dollars from someone she knew. I ended up with him when my sister moved into an apartment.

The other three were all gotten from breeders in my area so they were all picked up by me.
Reagan(Yorkie) either $600 or 800, this is an argument me and my husband have been having for a while. She took off 200 dollars but we don't know if the beginning price was 1000 or 800.
Buckwheat(Choc. Lab) was I believe 300.
And finally Auburn( Bloodhound) was 400.

Daisy came from a breeder in IL, she was $400 and was flown to us.

I got Sammi at Quality Canines as well...I paid 1800 for her...AND COULDNT BE HAPPIER!!

Don't you just love Ivan at Quality Canine? His wife Cathie who passed away was a real doll too - she is the one who gave me such a HUGE discount of Katie!

We got her from a broker in NYC but she came from Missouri the nite before and that included the shipping...

I can't say enough good things about him! The way he takes care of the puppies there is wonderful...From what I remember he takes them home with him...Cathie was there when I got Sammi...She gave me her first box of Nutri-Cal and some turkey for our trip home...

We paid 950.00 or 1000.00 for Maximus from a breeder about 1-1/2 away....I can't remember exactly how much because he was a slightly belated b-day gift (he was only 9 weeks on my b-day 4/28) and so we didn't take him how for 2 more weeks.

We got our first Yorkie, Bandit from a pet store. (this was before YT and we knew nothing about puppy mills) He was $1750. He died a month later and once we learned about how sick he was, etc. we started looking and found Tucker from a breeder who lives 10 minutes from our house. He was $850 and worth 10 times as much!

I drove an hour and a half to get Gus. The breeder,,,,, Kathy of YorkiePals was just wonderful. I paid $1,400 and he is worth every penney!!!

Ivan owns that building and lives right upstairs on the top floor. He takes the dogs upstairs at night and leaves them in their crates in his bedroom so that, in case there is an emergency, he's right there to help. He is VERY dedicated and always kissing and hugging his dogs. If I was ever going to "buy" another dog (but I hope to adopt one from a shelter) I would ONLY buy from Ivan.

I paid $475 for Stewie from a breeder here in Chicago. His littermates were much more. I don't know why the breeder gave me such a discount -- maybe because he was the last one. I ended up paying about $100 in vet bills right after I got him.

I paid $700 for Sophie and drove 2 hours to get her.

I paid $1000 for Daisy and drove around 1 hour to get her.

THey are both worth every penny and MORE! :)

i paid $ 1800.00 for lexi, i got her at shake a paw puppies in lynbrook...
i was going to get a puppy from ivan, but one day i was at shake a paw
and there she was..so i took her and couldnt be more happier...walked out
of there $2500.00 later....

I bought both my Yorkies at Puppy Petite in Brooklyn, NY. Paris, who is a big girl, weighs 9.5 and Harry only weighs 4.4. They're both 7 months old and so different...Harry has the long silky hair, while Paris has the cottony coat. I'll be posting new pictures soon.

I'm sorry to say but Puppy Petite buys their dogs from pupy mills. I've been working w/ groups for a while to try and shut them down. There is a thread about Puppy Petite already. I know a few people (one being my close friend) who bought a dog from PP and it died right away. They would not refund the money, then there story changed about where they buy their dogs from. First it was "a select local group of breeders" and the it became out of state breeders and they can't give out the information. PP is by New Utrecht High School.

I paid 800 for BOBO and Harley and got them at richland mo. 5 hours away.
I got missy in Evansville In. 45 minutes away and paid 400.
i got poozack and in ky and paid 400
and karlee in Ill. and paid 600.
and Strardust in nashville Tenn and paid 800/

Wow, what a bargain my Bailey was,, I got him from a family who had a female and a male, and planned to get the female fixed,,,, too late... :rolleyes: ,,, I saw an ad on the internet,, so we went to look at them about 1 hour away,,,, Bailey was $375.00.

Yeah, $350 is awesome!! I wish I could have paid less because then I could have bought more puppies :D
