| She (and he) are finally here!!!!!!!!! Hi everyone, Just wanted you to know my little female yorkie puppy I ordered is finally home with me. I have been so anxiously awaiting the time to go to North Carolina to get her. She is beautiful, just like her picture. Her official registered name will be Miss. Dixie Darling of Running Deer. I just call her Dixie. My daughter Heather just did a posting telling of our adventure and blown transmission in our van at the top of a mountain when we went to go and get her. A rental van got us home yesterday but it was scarry and now our van is still in NC and we have to make arrangements to have it fixed and then fly back down there and drive it home or drive down there and have someone else drive it back. A nightmare of a weekend to be sure! BUT, I did expect to get my beautiful little girl Dixie and I did. I did not expect to be bringing home another but my daughters asked the breeder if he had any other yorkies not sold yet and he had three males from another litter born 13 days later and gave them a price and they went together and purchased a male they are naming Teddy. He is smaller by almost a pd. So we got thier papers and all thier stuff and got them home about 8 hours later and late last nite when we got home they were so full of energy and curiosity exploring all they could. They are eating well, useing thier piddle pads! We took them to the vet this morning and both passed with flying colors. Then we took them to PetSmart and got each some more toys and name tags etc, etc, etc and more etc!!! My Bichon Frise sisters, Missy and Prissy, who we got from this same breeder 7 yrs ago are watching the puppies and have been friendly but not aggresive to them. We have them in a playyard area where the Bichons can see them and will spend some time each day introducing them. Our pet cats just look at these playful little puppies and seem to shake thier heads like "What in the world are those?" We have already taken lots of pictures and will post them all soon! Hope your weekend was good!!!!! |
