| Almost had a heart attack! Just got back from the vet's for Izzy and Luna's annual checkup and shots. I refused the Corona and Lepto, and will take them back for the rabies next week so they didn't get too much at once. I just about DIED when checking out, the amount was $573.85 OMG! Now my husband won't be getting his new truck tires this week. Or nexxt week They are bald too and I felt really bad, but they were so overdue for their shots and it was now or put it off once again I'm so glad this is only once a year!

| I took Buddy two weeks ago and our bill was $298.00. That was a well care check up that we get done yearly. He got his rabies, lymes and the 6 in 1 which encludes the Lepto. They also checked for heartworm and lymes and that test was 98.00 alone! $32.00 to check a fecal sample too it all adds up. Thank heavens it's only once a year. You had two pups so that hurt I'm sure. Very expensive these days to go to the vet. |

| Have you ever tried to give the shots yourself? The vacination can be purchased from a feed store and is only 7.00 each ... . Even though I am a nurse and give injections it is easy for me but really anyone can do it .

That did include bloodwork, fecal flotation, and a thorough head to toe exam. The vet said that Izzy's knees are loose but that's a load of poop, now Luna, she's the one with the bad knees They're both laying around right now, not much energy and they just look like they feel a little punky I'm SO glad I didn't let the vet give them the rabies too. He tried to talk me into the corona and lepto, but I said heck no.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Wow it is getting so expensive. I have 4 and try and space out their visits to 2 at a time. My vet now gives rabies and distemper every 3 years so that will help

| Oh my goodness that is alot of money. Mine are due for their yearly check up in August but their last check up with shots last year for two was $185.00 and that included the heartworm test. My vet gives his patients multiple pet discount when I take them on the same day. |

| And to think, I almost blew a gasket when we had to fork over a little more than $200 for the same thing you did... but for 3 dogs. |

| Wow! Our bill is 109.00 per dog for the rabies and 7 in 1, exam, fecal and HW test. We have to do ours every year though I don't need more vet bills. Our last puppies cost 1k at the vet.I have one due for yearly shots this week and Gracie is due to have puppies. I live at the vet sometimes. |

| Nope, the rabies shots will cost me another $30 total But that did include 6 months of Revolution for each of them, so I guess it's not awful, but OMG we're so broke now. They're worth every penny though
