| The SHEDDING is driving me nuts!!! So as some of you may remember, Chewy has been having skin issues. The allergy itching has improved a lot but she is still shedding!!!!!!!!! He hair is about half an inch long on her body and longer on her head right now but i find myself needing to lint the couch every day and wash the floors every few days AND there is still hair everywhere! I gave her a bath today and there was hair ALL over the tub. I put her in the sink to dry her off and the sink was covered in hair. I have talked to my vet about this months ago and we didnt come up with any solutions... I have also asked on here but Im wondering if maybe someone else will see it and suggest something. I LOVE dogs but the reason I got a yorkie and not another breed is because of the lack of shedding. It drives me crazy and makes me feel gross in my own apt. Anyone heard of yorkies shedding? Any advice would be appreciated. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Wow, it doesn't sound like you have found the answer yet. Joey doesn't shed at all. Has thyroid been checked?

| Was she checked for demodentic mange? Lots of skin problems with that and causes shedding/loss of hair. |

| I looked it up and it is described as hair loss on patches of skin. She doesnt have that at all.. there are no areas of thin hair or baldness... just shedding the same as big dogs shed. Thank you though.... |
