Yorkie in "Meet The Fockers" movie? I think it's a Yorkie? I'm not quite sure, so I freeze framed the movie trailer and took a few pictures. The picture of the blue dog looks like it'd be a Yorkie for sure, but I can't tell so much of the other pic (they may have used different dogs I guess). Apparently, the dog goes into the toilet to drink water and the cat flushes it and in the ensuing hilarity the dog gets the cleaning solution on him and turns blue. I haven't seen the movie yet, just the trailer. Has anyone seen the movie?

Funny funny movie!! When i saw it and noticed the dog, my first words were "heah, that's a little Yorkie"...But of course I have no proof. However, a Yorkie would be a perfect fit for a movie, awesome dogs!!!!!!!!

Thanks for this post, I've been wondering if it's a yorkie ever since the commercials started for this movie. I think it looks like a yorkie when it's blue, but that's just my opinion. I haven't seen the movie yet, but can't wait to, it looks really funny!!

Yeah, there's definitely some Yorkiness to the dog, like the pointy stick up straight ears. I wonder if we can ever find out for certain what kind of dog that was! Ok, I got unlazy and searched Google. I couldn't find anything directly about Terem at all besides this site. And I dunno how reliable this source is but here's the quote: --- When Jack and Dina first meet Bernie Focker, his dog Moses runs up and humps Dina’s foot. Curiously enough, the hero dog, played by a Yorkie mix named Terem, is actually female! To achieve this action, the trainer shook Danner’s pant leg and verbally cued the dog with the phrase “get the kitty.” This prompt originated after the trainer noticed that at home, Terem liked to hump a stuffed cat toy. The trainer used food rewards to condition the dog to repeat this behavior on command. --- http://www.ahafilm.info/movies/mr.phtml?fid=7624 Last edited by fasteddie; 01-22-2005 at 10:31 PM.
