| Yorkie baby is a night owl Does anyone else have one of these? Ever since I got Suzi she has been a night owl. She is much more active and stays awake in the middle of the night more then the day! I wonder if it is because of the heat or something? She seems to have her schedule turned upside down, sooo if i really want to have a good time with her, I need to be up late! |

| --bump-- We have been having a heat wave here and Cooper has been waking up in the middle of the night. We have a window air conditioning unit in the bedroom, but it is still warmer than usual.

| Yes it has hit here with a force! triple diget tempatures and not enough play time outdoors. That explains why Suzi is so active in the middle of the night.

| Lily was like this when I got her she would sleep all day and be up all night. One weekend I stayed home all day and made her play, still let her take naps but not to long and that day we stayed up till 12:00 at night playing and then she slept, since then she sleeps well at night and I have to make her wake up in the morning.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Mine all seem to sleep all day and then around 9 pm they start playing and getting active. Then they go to bed around 11 and wake up at 3:30am to be fed!!! I haven't slept for more than 3 hours at a time in 2 years, since my pom got Cushings disease.

| oh my Goodness, that is rough. I am sorry to hear about your pom. My parents always had one, and I grew up with them .I did not know they could get cushings disease. That is not a fun thing to go through and deal with.

| When I got Katie. A friend said never play with her at bedtime, and remove all her toys. This as worked and we go to bed at 8.30pm and get up at 7.30am. I'm just hoping my new puppy (another Suzi) will be the same. I do hope she soon turns around to sleeping at night for you love. Hugs Shirl x x |

| Teddy has become a night owl recently because my mom has been in a nursing home for PT for 4 weeks, Teddy goes to the nursing home everyday from 10am until 7pm. It started out trying to keep my mom mood on an upbeat she would ride around the home in a wheel chair with Teddy sitting on her lap, everyday we would walk in and all the residents would yell Teddy here and he would start making his rounds from one patient to another, Teddy loves to be held and patted and cuddle so he would sleep most of the day until we got home around 8pm then he would start is terror fun until 1am. It's hard on me because my day starts at 4:45 a.m. but seeing how much those people look forward to seeing him made it worth it, my mom left the nursing home yesterday and she is staying with me, We were ask if at all possible for us to come back once a week for awhile and I said we would, they gave my mom and Teddy a send off yesterday. Teddy is 4mos old. |
