I lost my Mom June 10, 2007 and six months before that I had lost my beloved Maltese, Duster, who owned me for 10 years. After my Mom passed away, Dad sold the house and bought a motor home. He is now staying in Miss. near their lifelong best friends. It is almost like I lost Dad too. Up until I got
Pepper I didn't realize just how depressed I had been. He has certainly brought a lot of joy to my life in the very short time I have had him.

Sorry, I'm just getting back. There's so much going on, with my new little addition and my second daughter graduating from high school, I forgot all about this thread. But, yes, that's what my vet was wondering about. In all my excitement, I forgot all about the papers the airline gave me that I stuck in my bag. Dena had sent along all Glory's medical records and the like, so we'll be going back to the vet today to give him all that information.

I have fallen deeply in love again. Glory "B" is a little angel to be sure. She is now officially second in command of the little pack (Molly is still a pup), and I believe she has her eye on being in charge. Lexie, I think, is being a little careful and just "rolls over". Everyday I see progress on the bond that is developing between the three. Oh, I love them.

I need to get the three together for pics, but by the time I'm done grooming one and getting her ready, the others are asleep or the first is a mess again (LOL). Three is certainly a lot more work but so much fun and more to love.

Oh, my heart goes out to you. It saddens me so much to know people are feeling the way I feel; I wouldn't wish it on anyone. They say with time, but I think I'll always miss them and maybe I just won't cry as often. I'm so sorry your dad is away from you, but I'm glad he is somehow going on with his life and not immobilized by depression.

But you're right, the one thing we can count on is our beautiful babies bringing a smile to our face everyday!
