I love looking at pictures of all our yorkies. There's just something about this breed.

I must admit I love all breeds of dog, I decided on a yorkie because I wanted a small breed as I have two dogs already. Also my fella had mentioned in the past that he liked them because of their irony-a pretty lap dog lookalike with a big dog attitude!!! Now that I have Mika I'm totally smitten with the breed and am already wondering whether we would be able to squeeze another one in at some point in the future!!!

I love your pics of Lexie with her long hair, this is just how I hope Mika turns out. I know she will be on the bigger side and thats an awful lot of hair, which is probably why I haven't seen as many teapots with long hair! I hope I will be able to cope, but if not at least we have a breed that looks adorable with or without their long coat and there is so many cute hair styles to choose from!!!LOL!!!

yeah they do have a big dog attitude but I know one breed of dog who just thinks it's the s**t and thinks it's like the size of a saint bernard.. that is the Min Pin. My husband and I were wanting a min pin or a Yorkie and the Yorkie offer came first. Teddy does have a big dog personality but he still sometimes semi cowers away from ppl where as every min pin I've met you come up to it and it doesnt want you to it runs up and growls and barks lol.

Here is Gizmo my 10 year, 13 lb teapot. He has the most pleasing personality and is the most well-behaved dog I have ever had. He has a beautiful coat too. I get lots of comments on how "big" he is but it doesn't bother me.

What a beauty he is! I love his long coat! I have already had comments on how big Mika is and she is only 12 weeks old and 5.5lbs!!! One woman said "oh my sister has just sold a litter of them, but her's were toy's" I tried to explain but she was having none of it! Cheek!!!

Smokey doesn't have a full coat now, but here are a few of when he did. He is 13 lbs.

I'm at work, so I don't have the latest pics I've taken but here is one of Kacee. These days I just keep her hair at the bottom of her tummy line. It's all the same length on her back.

what is considered "Teapot" size? I haven't had Meeka in to the vet in a few months so I don't know her exact weight right now (although she seems bigger than when I brought her in last time) That was back at the beginning of April and she weighed 5lbs 9oz then. I am guessing she is about 7lbs now. Is that considered "teapot"?
