| Giving a bath for the 1st time!!! Hi!! I'm so excited, I will be giving him his first bath today!!! Any tips or advice on how to distract him from moving too much or how to keep him calm and relaxed during the bath? I know to put cotton balls in his ears but is that enough? and the vet gave me mineral oil for his eyes. Anything else I need to know? I'm excited!!!!! |

| When I give Lily a bath I do it in the sink and put a no slip pad in the bottom. My only tip would be to keep the water and soap out of his face.

| Do it in your kitchen sink so you can get to him better. The tub will kill your back. I fill up both sides of the sink. Put them in one side to wash. Then put them in the clean water in the other side to rinse. Mine did better when they were young if they didn't hear the water running. Now I squirt them with the sprayer so I can rinse them really good. But when they were babies I poured fresh water over them with a cup. Remember the treats!

| you said to keep water out of his face, does that mean that I shouldn't wash his face at all? how about the ears? are they okay with the cotton balls? should I put them deep in the ears? Thanks! |
