Taping my puppies ears! HI Yorkie Lovers, I know this has been talked about before but my puppies ears aren't up yet. I have a almpost 4 month old yorkie. I would really like her ears up but worried about shaving them taping etccc.. I asked my vet and they said they don't do it, talked to groomers and they don't do it either. Have any of you brought your yorkie in to a vet or groomer to get there ears taped? Thanks so much!

Sometimes ears will never go up until you get the weight of the hair off the ears. I suggest you buy a wahl peanut clipper and shave both sides of the ears. Then you can tape them up as a shaved ear is easier to tape than an ear with hair. I am suprised a groomer wont help you with this.

I remember when mine was a pup and his ears came up, then one flopped than it came back up. I was told it had something to do with teething . I remember reading a website that instucted you how to use a tampon to hold the ear up, if I came across it I will post it too.
