OMG this is the first I have seen this. Poor sweet Maya. I am hoping and praying everything turns out for the best. Prayers and postive thoughts going out to Maya and Mommy.

I just saw this for the first time. I know how aweful it is to wonder if they are going to make it. It looks like she may be doing OK. I will keep my fingers crossed.

I have taught my dogs all the leave it command just for that reason. If I drop a pill or anything I want them to leave it until I can find it or pick it up. If I yell leave it they scatter!

I had a friend lose a minpin due to medication it found on the floor.
It is just one of those things.

Praying your baby is going to be completely OK.

I read your post and my heart stopped.I can tell Maya is very loved and you are very ,very careful with her.But accidents happen .I am soooo happy that she is feeling better and improving.I have been terrified of losing my furbaby and I kno how panicked and nervous you must have felt.

Please let us now as soon as you bring yoru baby home.

Thank you so much for keeping us updated. This is GREAT news about Maya's recovery!!! You reacted so quickly and efficiently and it sure seems like it paid off. Big hugs and yorkie kisses from my babies to your family.

You can add me to the long list of people who have also dropped pills! I dropped a diet pill

on the kitchen floor once and it was a mad dash between me and my 2 pups to get it! Just goes to show you that this is a very easy accident to have. One of Nahal's many nicknames is Nature's Vacuum.

Maya sounds like she's full of spunk, bouncing back quickly, and in great care. I hope she gets to come home soon.

That's great news that she's up and moving ! and breathing is fine - what a relief ....you still have my prayers but it does sound like she may pull thru this

so glad to hear she is stable and eating and causing a fuss in her pen. Those are wonderful words to hear. Im so happy for you. You see all these wonderful peoples prayers helped Im sure.

I'm just now seeing this and raced all the way through for the updates. Lots more prayers and hugs coming your way. I'm so happy that she seems to be improving! And glad that everyone was "available" today earlier for their prayers. Obviously worked.

That's one of my biggest fears. And please know that you guys, by being so careful, saved her life even though it feels like a terrible accident. AND in addition..... you most likely saved another Yorkie's life..... because I can guarantee that all of us will be much more careful with our medications and vitamins with this little sweetie's close call.

So BIG hugs and BIG thank you's too.
