| Boarding my little Buffalo Hi! My little yorkie Buffalo is 14 weeks old now and about 3.5 pounds. I am going out of town to Maryland soon and at first i made reservations for Buffalo to stay at a boarding place. However, now he will be watched by one of my friends, saving me 100 dollars and he will socialize with her dog. The thing is, my friends dog is a puggle and she is a solid 40 pounds of muscle. Should i be concerned? They have met but buffalo just rolled over on his back and put his paws up like in a surrender. He is not used to having other dogs around. Any advice? Did i make the right decision? |

| Your dog is still very young and needs to be kept seperated from the other dog when she isnt supervising. I am glad you found someone to watch him because I think he is too young to be kenneled. Has your pup had all his shots. I would make sure he had before hes around the other dog

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | first off welcome to YT...you will find a lot of great info on here...also meet tons of great people...i know i sure have...hehe... as far as boarding goes he is quite young and unless he is up to date with all his shots i would not recommend boarding him. that is great that your friends is willing to watch him...as far as the other dog...it depends on the temperment and how well they get a long with each other...hopefully everything works out for you...good luck!
