| Hi All, We Are New I have been on for a couple of days just reading all of the interesting topics that are here. I can say that I have learned so much and keep finding more. My 1 1/2 yr. old male is Cena and my 10 mo. old female is Priscilla but we call her Prissy. A little background - we had a ferret "Booty" for a little while (we were both working at the time) and didn't want her to be so lonely so when I was unable to work anymore following a back surgery I got my baby Cena who stayed right by my side for 4 or 5 mos. and would not ever leave me. They played together wonderfully but after about 6 mos. Booty passed over the Rainbow Bridge and Cena just didn't know what to do with himself, he really missed his buddy. A girl that I had asked advice for my Cena had puppies and was wanting to get rid of her baby female because she was relocating and didn't have the room for animals. I bought "Prissy" and my babies have not been separated since. Unfortunately when she went into heat she was bread even with a diaper on him too. It's unbelievable how sly the little stinkers are. We sure weren't planning on breeding nearly this soon (we were going to breed for family members) but it happened. She should have them on the 18th and we are very excited. I have decided to give one to an elderly lady that lives with her daughter and her husband so I know she will be taken good care of (they are our pastor & his wife & mother). I know when my mother got a yorkie mix her health & mentality seemed to improve greatly and I'm hoping it will be the same in this situation. Our babies are so loving and we want to share that with others. Well at the moment that whole book I just wrote is all I can think of but we wanted to say a big HELLO to all of you and thank you for all of your valuable info. Pictures: Cena Prissy |

| Thanks for the welcome!!! I am also a Yorkie crazy person, that's okay. I told someone we were having babies the other day and they looked at me funny and asked if I was pregnant. lol They are a permanent part of our family and we love them very much. I call them my children and my son thinks I'm nuts, but that's okay too!!! I am going to try to post the cutest pic of Cena that was taken last summer under my name if I can figure all of that out. Have a good Tuesday!!! |
