Some of you might remember, I posted a week or two ago about what to look for when we visited Thor at the breeder's. Thanks for all the great advice!

We brought him home today for a one week trial period, but if today is any indication, he is here to stay! He has been so delightful...very shy at first, but now he is my little shadow....he's actually in my lap now. No potty accidents (fingers crossed he can keep that up!), but he has not eaten anything either. I guess that is just nerves, and my hope is that tomorrow morning he will gobble up his breakfast. My 5 1/2 yr old daughter just LOVES him...while DH and I were hanging out in the backyard with Thor, she was inside planning a surprise welcome home party for him, complete with a Thor banner, a wrapped doggy toy, some lovely drawings and cards, and a piano performance.

Congratulations! Thor is very handsome, and your daughter is precious! She has a great future as a party planner. Wow!

How can anyone not feel welcome with a reception like that??!! Very nice! Great photos.

Congratulations on your newest family member. He sure is a beautiful boy. Your daughter is just a little doll. Love her color hair. You must be so proud of such a smart and talented daughter.

Congratulations!!! Thor is so cute and your daughter is beautiful and sounds so precious. I love the pic with her and Thor. I don't know who looks happier!!! Tho is mu husband's middle name!

I'm thinking Thor will be so ingrained in your lives that there is no way he will be leaving next weekend. He looks so happy with your sweet daughter
