| My Yorkie Is Eating Worms....why???? Hello Everyone. I'm new to the site, but I need HELP!! When I take him out to play in the yard, I find that he is always sniffing around in the grass. Well, the other day I noticed that he is trying to find those little worms to eat. Why is he doing this? I can't get him to stop. His four months old. |

| I don't know why. I've never heard of one eating worms, but lots of them will eat June bugs! The only suggestion I have is to keep the grass cut short and inspect the grass along with him and perhaps you can beat him to the worms.

| Eating worms My 2 Yorkies love to eat worms--especially the dried up worms on the driveway! Vet says it's ok--it's protein! |

| My four month old yorkie loves to eat ants!!! She gets all excited! She discovered a worm in the yard the other day and totally wanted to eat it! I'm sure it wouldn't hurt her but I just couldn't bear watching! <yuck> |
