| Sneezing! For the past few days Layla has been sneezing nonstop! There is no coughing, just sneezing. Is this allergies? It seems to be much worse outside. We just got home from puppy class and she peed in the yard before coming in, but as she was sniffing the grass she was just sneeze sneeze sneeze... Now she's just peacefully napping on my floor. Her eye goobers seem to be a lot bigger now too so I think her eyes have been watering. Should I run to the store to get some children's benadryl tonight? Will that help her?

| Sorry, I'm not going to be a lot of help. I have had dogs with allergies and there are usually more signs then just the sneezing. Is she scratching/chewing her legs or at the base of her tail a lot? Are her eyes a bit red or bloodshot? Runny nose? I personally wouldn't medicate, I'm just very cautious of treating 'symptoms', it can sometimes make is harder to diagnose the true cause. Perhaps you can call you Vet and see what they suggest. Or if she seems to be getting worse, maybe take her in to be seen. Good luck, let us know what you find out.

| Thanks! That helps. I was wondering if there would have to be other symptoms as well. I took her to the vet last week for a rash on her tummy, and I got some antihistamines for her that were supposed to make it clear up right away but it's still sort of there and really dry and there's a couple of what look like little pimples growing So I may need to take her back for that too. I'm not sure if her nose is running because she keeps licking it, but she definitely leaves a big spray when she sneezes! I felt really bad for her this morning because every step she took she sneezed

| awww, poor baby. It does sound like she has something going on, what with the rash and all. I'd probably call my Vet and let them know the rash is still sort of there and that there's an addition of pimples and sneezing now. I sure hope she feels better soon.
