| My girl is 10 months old I was microchipped a couple of weeks ago. She didn't flinch a bit and made no noise at all. She seems perfectly fine with it. |

| Thanks for all your responses. I will let you know how it turns out. I am going next week. I think I'm the one that's scared.

| Baxter had his done when neutered because the vet didn't think I could handle seeing the needle. Not that it would bother Baxter. The chip is under the skin, I can feel it, not in the muscle. I think that is why it is not so painful as it sounds and looks. I was afraid Baxter would be sore in that spot but he wasn't. My husband found the chip by accident when he was rubbing him. |

| Just got Cole 2 extra baby teeth pulled out and a micro-chip (also his nails cut) on Tues. He was sedated for his teeth so I thought it was good timing to insert the chip...What I didn't understand was why they gave me 4 suringes (spelling?) of pain killer for the chip !!! the vet said he might be soar in his shoulders !!!??? I gave him 2 doses because they made me feel it was necessary... He's not getting any more....He's such a playful 1 yr old and back to teasing his sisters....He's feeling no pain !!!! Maybe he never did?!

| It's been 3 hours since we came back from getting microchipped and he is acting as if nothing happened. Even though we were both shaking at the dr's office. Thanks again.
