| I spend as much time as I possibly can with my two dogs. If I DO ever have to leave them alone for long periods of time bc of work then I make sure to spend extra time with them that evening doing fun things like going on walks, dog parks, toy play sessions, ect... ALL dogs, not just yorkies, need to be taken out in order to be well socialized esp when they are younger but also throughout their life. I don't mean to sound rude but if you neighbor and sister thinki their dogs are "stupid" or acting out then it is probably bc they are going stir crazy from being locked up all day. Being kept locked up with little to no interaction with people can cause a dog to have serious behavioral issues. I think it is great that you take your dog with you places!! I take Abbey with me places and I think it has led her to be very well socialized and to have a great temperment. I cannot take my other dog with me as much bc she is much bigger. But I feel like that is one of the perks of having a yorkie-small, compact, ready to go anywhere!

| I have two Yorkies and they are with me as much as possible....my time with them is much too precious to pass up unless I have to do things where they really can not be with me. I do have a busy season which I imagine is a little emotionally hard for them but I do need to feed , cloth and keep them safe and happy so gotta work. But even during that time I still spend just about all my free time with them..even more so. When I am at work they have the whole kitchen to themselves...they have their toys and water and each other till I get home. I really feel sorry for your sisters Yorkies being that she crates them all day...I could so never do that to my two best friends and babies. So much so that I am buying a house so that they can also have a yard to run around in. I don't mean to be judgemental I am no expert but I can't see confining a dog...jmho. If you are crazy I am right up there with you ![]() Tina

I spend the majority of my time with her. Suzi follows me everywhere, and is constanly by my side. She is not certified yet, so I can't take her with me everywhere. I have had her for nearly a month. She is absolutely the best thing that has happened to me in a long time | |

| Layla is usually with someone 24/7 (either myself or my parents) and like Sethowner, we schedule things around Layla.... it kills some of our family that we do this. Layla sleeps in a crate tho, not in bed with me. She is always at work with my parents, she comes on holidays with us and if we do leave her, it is for 2-3 hours when we go out to eat. |

| I spend all day with my furbbys However, I dont take them with me when I go places because its frowned upon where I live I so would if I could. When I lived in Cali though, I would take my furbby everywhere with me. I really miss doing that! I never leave them for very long though ... maybe a maximum of four hours. I honestly dont have a problem leaving them at home for long periods of time though. Of course I miss them but I also know that they will be ok because they have toys to play with. However, now that I have Bear & he is only ten weeks, I dont leave him alone for very long because we're trying to potty train him & I dont want to mess up his schedule. But once he gets older I will leave him alone for longer periods of time. In my own personal opinion, I think it's good that I leave my furbbys by themselves for awhile because they need to learn that mommy can't always be there & they need to be content being at home by themselves. That's just my opinion though & I'm sure that there are many people who disagree with me, & that's fine with me Everyone is different when it comes to raising their furbbys & I accept that.Amy

| I have 2 babies. Cosmo and Mino. I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I work from 530 am to 130pm. My husband is with them in the morning until he leaves for work at 730. My mom and dad then take turns looking after them, to make sure their puppy pads are changed and that they eat lunch and have fresh water. There is usually someone with them at all times. I spend from 2pm when I get home till 10pm with them until i go to bed. They sleep in the living room in their crate. They are not fully trained yet so i cant trust that they wont pee or poop on my bed. I try to take them as many places as I can but they get car sick and vomit. Im hoping they will out grow this . |

| I was just visiting my Neighbor with the 2 Yorkie Sisters, Madison & Shelby. I had been nagging @ her to "Walk" her Dogs since they do not leave the House except to go to the Vets. Office. They are almost 3 yrs. old and they are both 6 lbs. a piece and they have never been "Walked" they don't even go outside to go Potty, they are Paper Trained in her Kitchen. Which is kind of gross to me? She announced that she is going to start Training them to "Walk" since I had been bugging her to do for the past year. She did buy them a Stroller but I told her it's not the same as them actually Walking! Her Husband was mad @ me he said she bought brand new Leashes & Harness so now she has no more excuses. I told her I would be her "Walking" Partner if she needed help? They can Walk! For once my Nagging actually did some good. |

| Call me stupid then because the only time I'm not with Mufasa is when I go to work from 7:30 - 4:30. After that he is with me constantly! If we go visit family or friends, he goes with us. I LOVE being with him and everyone LOVES him so they actually get mad if we don't bring him. lol Mufasa is a part of my family and he goes anywhere and everywhere I can take him. I've not taken him shopping but since I don't like to shop I usually get what I need to on my way home from work so when I get home I can just play play play! I feel sorry for those poor babies who are stuck inside all day and don't get to socialize. I think that's just so sad! Me and the kids went to my parents house last night because it was my birthday and of course we took Mufasa. My parents have a chihuahua (sp) named Corkie and Mufasa and Corkie ran their little legs off. They had the best time!!!! |

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I work from home, so Max is on my lap all the time, we hardly go out, when we do, we go boating and he comes with us, he starting to like his weekend visits to PetSmart, for some reason he did not like going there. This weekend he may stay with my mom, since we are going to a firework display and he is terrified to fireworks

| I stay at home with Lilly most of the time. My boyfriend works a job where all the work is in different states so he's gone most of the time (we see him about 1 weekend out of a month). So, Lilly and I are usually kicking it at the house together, some days I'll go out to Wal-mart or wherever I need or want to go and she'll stay at home in her crate and sleep. She sleeps with me at night though and the only time she goes in her crate is when I go out or whenever my boyfriend and I go out when he's home.

| Katie is with me 24/7 except if I go shopping and it's too hot to leave her in the car. I rarely go out at night. I walk her 3 times a day. She's is very well socialised and I can even let her off leash in the country park near my home. When we visit relatives she comes too. It's a case of love me love my dog. Hugs Shirl x x |

| I'm pretty sure I've already posted here but I've had such a lovely day, I just wanted to share! As I'm a SAHM I'm with Mika pretty much 24/7, today we spent all day at the park! I take her water bottle, a tub of food and her fold down carrier for shade, she can even hitch a ride in the pushchair if she gets tired! I take her with me almost everywhere, if she is not welcome, we don't go! Having said that, she is perfectly happy at home on the rare occasion that I can't take her out with me. She has the run of our large kitchen/diner and always uses the newspaper if she needs to relieve herself! I feel so lucky to be able to have this time with all my babies skin/fur to watch them grow

| I feel so sorry for your neighbour/sisters pups! They are meant to be socialized. I work about 2 minutes from home, so it's nice that I can come home on my breaks and at lunch to hang with Deegan for a bit... But after I get home he is usually with me all the time. I will bring him to certain friends homes, my aunts house, dad's house, etc... I bring him shopping when I can bring him in with me. And when I'm not around, Julien my boyfriend hangs with him - they are the best of buddies too! He takes him for truck rides all the time. He sleeps on our bed with us. We like to have him play with other dogs whenever possible... My cousin's dog, our neighbours dog, and my friends dog are always come by. They have a fuller, happier life if they are able to socialize... Those poor babies - maybe you should give you neighbour and sister a copy of "The Pet's Ten Commandments". I found it on here yesterday and had to send it out to everyone I knew. I can't remember where exactly I found it, but here it is: A PET'S TEN COMMANDMENTS 1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful. 2. Give me time to understand what you want of me. 3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being. 4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I only have you. 5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me. 6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it. 7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you. 8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I' am not getting the right food or I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old and weak. 9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old. 10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so. ~~Take a moment today to thank God for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them. Life would be a much duller, less joyful experience without our little critters. We do not have to wait for Heaven, to be surrounded by hope, love, and joyfulness. It is here on earth and has four legs.

| On a normal day, I bring Mia into work with me which means I spend all day with her. Once or twice a week (If I'm very busy LIKE TODAY) I will leave her at home BUT she's not alone. Her grandma picks her up for the day! What a spoiled little girl..you'd think she was human! I pretty much take her everywhere I can.... she's never home alone for more than 3 hours it seems.
