| One of the drawbacks of having mulitples I've got to take my lil Deuce to the vet today to rule out coccidia. He's had yucky nasty poop a couple times since last Thursday and has thrown up about every other day since then. I want to think he just ate a bug or something that disagreed with him, but I don't dare take a chance of it being coccidia and infecting the other 4. I haven't taken him sooner because after every episode he'll seem perfectly fine, and I think ok, he's ok, no need to go. But, he had a little yucky poop again this morning. By yucky, I mean some mucus/jelly like substance. Does everyone agree that's what I should do?

| I am sorry that Little Deuce isn't feeling well. Yes, I would take him to the vet just to make sure it's not something serious.

| Ok, he's at the vet's now. I hated to leave him, but I'm in the office by myself today, so I'll pick him up at noon. I'm really ok leaving him here though, the vet is my neighbor and with my 5, I'm definitely one of his best customers! I'll update after lunch.

| Deuce is home from the vet's and all is well. Nothing showed up in the fecal exam, but to be on the safe side, he did get meds. He got 2 injections...Ci Centrine & Penicillin. He also got albendazole liquid, primor tabs & centrine tabs. Peace of mine sure is expensive!

So glad that it turned out well! Although sometimes it won't show up and he could still have it.....so say he did and gave it to your other dogs...then you would have to medicate them ALL and clean up the runs from all over your house....so REALLY it could've really turned out a LOT cheaper! Just looking for the silver lining

| Definitely get the one treated before the other gets it. Gracie had the squirts, then 48 hours later Holly had it. By then Gracie had started to clear. We ended up putting both Gracie and Holly on Forta Flora for a week, and Holly on the bland diet.

| o Bless You! You will be glad you acted so fast... all 5 of mine(including a lab) got really sick and kept giving it to each other for WEEKS, NOT NICE in my house, haha. We never really decided what it was but it was contagious to each other. Thank goodness those days are over. d
